The company revealed earlier in 2012 how a class of thermoplastics have been initiated into the orthotic landscape with little regard for the imminent danger it presents to both the health care professional and the patients themselves.

Anatomical Concepts, Inc., designer and manufacturer of industry-leading medical devices, custom-fit and custom-fabricated orthoses for both upper and lower extremities, has expanded its campaign to warn medical professionals about the risks of using PVC-based plastics in orthotics.
A direct mail campaign was sent to hospital administrators throughout Ohio, and the company is planning to expand the campaign to other regions of the country. Additionally, the company’s product advertising this year included the statement, “Anatomical Concepts does not use PVC-based plastics, nor Kydex®, nor Latex in any product, which, when heated, can pose health risks to both medical professionals and patients.” This has raised awareness to the dangers of PVC-based plastics in orthotics.

New Custom Software is Saving Time and Improving Cash Flow
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – September 21, 2012
Following the launch of phase six of a multi-module software package, a leading retail managed service provider based in Bethesda, Md., credited Xeo Software of San Antonio for substantial time and cost savings. After implementing the final module in July and August, 2012, the Maryland firm’s finance director said, “I suspect the invoicing module alone has improved our productivity by a factor of 10. As the module develops and as we bring more clients on to it, we expect our productivity to skyrocket even further. The invoicing module is not only saving us time but it gives us more peace of mind that the invoices are going to be accurate. These gains directly translate to improved cash flow.”
The client, a broadband managed service provider to over 25,000 retail locations nationally, ordered the custom-built system from Xeo Software in December 2010, and has implemented the modules in stages since then. The client is now ordering enhancements for the cloud-based enterprise resource application.

IRG delivered full management of broadband services, firewall and VoIP, along with industry partners, to over 800 locations.
Nationwide Insurance has grown over 80 years to become one of the largest insurance and financial services companies in the world, with more than $135 billion in statutory assets. The company provides services to both individuals and businesses.
Nationwide boasts over 10,000 corporate office associates and an additional 30,000 associates in other locations.
Nationwide Insurance had been using a very cost-prohibitive MPLS T-1 network. While the infrastructure was stable, it was low-speed and didn’t bring the flexibilities a new IPsec (Internet Protocol Security) network would provide. The company was seeking a managed service provider that would create a fully-managed, high-speed, low-cost broadband over a layer 3 network infrastructure. It was important to Nationwide that the provider be hardware-agnostic in its approach, and was capable of implementing and managing the underlying VPN firewall device. Further, the company was interested in discovering how a new managed service provider could help them leverage the potential of the new IPsec network to include options such as VoIP.
