Web Design & Development Process
No two website projects are alike. We follow a flexible process to keep Your project moving forward.
Objectives & Planning
This phase includes determining brand message and what you want website visitors to do.
A site can have many objectives, but prioritizing them determines the layout and site design.
Content Organization
This phase is focused on collecting content from the client, including text, images, and documents. We may provide sketches, flow charts or wireframes depending on the complexity of content. A color palette will be developed.
Layout & Design
Concepts will be presented for desktop, tablet and mobile devices. During this phase, color palette and specific stock images are approved along with the page layout.
Development & Testing
Development, or coding, happens concurrently through all phases, but is finished during this last phase. Final content edits and design tweaks happen in this phase.
Launch
Once the website is approved, we will launch the new site after 5:00 pm. We can work with your domain and complete this process ourselves, or work with you in pointing your domain to our host.
Once launched, it takes the internet 1-48 hours to propagate the location of your new site to your domain. Your existing website may be down during this time. Most new sites appear within a couple of hours.
